Colorado Conservation Trust

Colorado Conservation Trust is the only Colorado-based nonprofit organization creating and funding statewide conservation programs.

Colorado continues to attract new residents, with its natural beauty and the exceptional quality of life the state offers. A child born in Colorado today will witness the population grow equivalent to another entire Front Range occupying the state by her 25th birthday. As this inevitable growth occurs and more Colorado land is consumed to accommodate the expanding population, Colorado Conservation Trust remains committed to conserving and protecting select open and natural areas so future generations may benefit from everything these incredible areas offer.

Colorado Conservation Trust endeavors to play a vital role in leading land conservation in our magnificent state. We conduct our work by collaborating with multiple, talented partners. With these partners who offer unique attributes, CCT creates, funds and implements programs to conserve and protect agricultural, open and natural lands, riparian corridors, wildlife migration routes and iconic scenic vistas.

Our mission is to conserve extraordinary Colorado landscapes by investing in people, policy, organizations and related land and water protection.
